This natural processed Guatemalan coffee took us by surprise. This coffee comes from the best cherries across 26 farms in the Ayarza region. Overseen by coffee veteran, Arnoldo Lopez, they got their most trusted partners in the area to set aside the best, and most consistent cherry picks for this truly special natural processed coffee. These cherries are treated very consistently throughout the process to ensure an even taste with a high degree of clarity. The result is this sweet, fruit forward coffee with a beautiful aromatic bouquet of florals on the nose. As you first pick up the coffee, the floral notes that greet your senses on the nose are reminiscent of violets. The winey body and rose florals are present with tropical fruit undertones that we thought would best be described as lychee. We like this coffee so much we are already restocking it.
Profits from our roaster support initiatives that fight hunger, unclean water, and human trafficking. We exist to end these injustices, so we roast our coffee with care for the farmer, for the quality, and for the people in need that our coffee impacts. By standing with us, you help to bring communities around the world closer to the resources that they need to live.
Note: We roast Mondays. Ship by end of week. If your order came in after Sunday at midnight it will be roasted the following week. Thanks so much for the support.
